Stephen M. Boyer

Mr. Boyer began his professional career in special education, working for the Kennedy-Krieger Institute and Prince George’s County Public Schools. Mr. Boyer joined the Law Offices of Evan K. Thalenberg in September 2019.
Born in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, Mr. Boyer graduated from Southern Lehigh High School in 2005. Mr. Boyer received a Bachelor of Arts degree from West Virginia University in 2009 and a Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of Notre Dame Maryland in 2014. Mr. Boyer received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2018. Following his graduation from law school, Mr. Boyer served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Glenn L. Klavans in the Circuit Court for Anne Arundel County.

While in law school, Mr. Boyer clerked with the Maryland Attorney General’s Office and Office of the Public Defender. Mr. Boyer also participated in the Community Development Clinic and Immigrant Rights Clinic at the University of Baltimore School of Law. Additionally, Mr. Boyer enjoys giving back to the community and individuals through various pro bono commitments. Mr. Boyer is a member of the Baltimore City Bar Association and is licensed to practice law in Maryland.
Mr. Boyer lives in Annapolis with his wife and two daughters, and in his free time likes to read and suffer through annual disappointment when the Steelers and Penguins lose in the playoffs.
